Job Summary

We are actively seeking highly organized, tech-savvy, and detail-oriented individuals to manage our outbound dispatch operations. As a Delivery Coordinator, you will oversee the staging of heavy bulk orders, coordinate with third-party delivery drivers, and ensure all time-windows are met flawlessly. You will serve as the operational bridge, delivering the signature scale and reliability that sets Sam's Club apart in the wholesale industry. This is a fast-paced role that blends administrative dispatching with physical staging.

Comprehensive Responsibilities

• Dispatch Management: Utilize proprietary digital dashboards to assign bulk delivery orders to independent drivers or corporate fleets, ensuring optimized routing.
• Order Staging: Verify that large orders (e.g., furniture, bulk pantry items, appliances) are accurately picked, securely wrapped on pallets, and staged in the dispatch bays.
• Driver Coordination: Greet arriving delivery drivers, verify their credentials, and assist in safely loading the bulky merchandise into their vehicles.
• Issue Resolution: Act as the primary contact for delivery exceptions, troubleshooting failed deliveries, contacting members, and rescheduling drop-offs.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age upon application.
• High School diploma or GED preferred; prior experience in dispatch, fulfillment, or warehouse operations is a strong plus.
• Must possess excellent computer skills, a strong sense of urgency, and the ability to multitask in a loud, busy environment.
• Ability to walk, bend, and safely lift up to 50 pounds to assist with loading orders.
