Job Summary

We are seeking visionary, analytical, and highly driven professionals to manage a regional district. As a District Manager, you will lead a team of Store Directors, audit store performance, and implement corporate strategies across your territory. You will serve as the crucial link between corporate headquarters and the frontlines, delivering the signature consistency that sets Giant Food apart in the grocery industry. This role requires extensive travel within the assigned district and high-level strategic planning.

Comprehensive Responsibilities

• Multi-Unit P&L: Manage the aggregated profit and loss for your district, identifying financial trends and aggressively coaching Store Directors on margin improvements.
• Strategic Auditing: Conduct regular, rigorous store walks to audit merchandising standards, food safety compliance, and overall store conditions.
• Talent Strategy: Act as the chief talent officer for the district, managing the succession pipeline, hiring Store Directors, and facilitating leadership training.
• Corporate Alignment: Roll out new corporate initiatives—such as e-commerce expansions or fresh format remodels—ensuring 100% execution across all locations.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age upon application.
• No college degree required; however, 5+ years of multi-unit retail management or highly successful single-unit big-box management is strictly required.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to hold high-level managers accountable to strict corporate standards.
