Job Summary

We are actively seeking tech-savvy, process-driven leaders to join our store operations team. As an Assistant Operations Manager, you will help oversee the receiving dock, warehouse organization, and digital fulfillment (web pick-up) teams. You will serve as the logistical backbone, delivering the signature product availability that sets Micro Center apart in the electronics retail industry. This role blends physical warehouse management with inventory systems analytics.

Comprehensive Responsibilities

• Dock Management: Oversee the safe, rapid unloading of inbound freight, verifying packing slips for highly valuable and heavily serialized tech components.
• Warehouse Organization: Maintain a pristine, organized stockroom, utilizing strategic binning methods so the sales floor team can retrieve items instantly.
• Fulfillment Operations: Drive the efficiency of the Web Order team, ensuring that "Buy Online, Pick Up In Store" orders are picked accurately and staged within 18 minutes.
• Inventory Auditing: Assist in cycle counts, RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) processing, and investigating systemic inventory discrepancies to reduce shrink.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age upon application.
• No college degree required; 2+ years of retail inventory, warehousing, or operations leadership is strictly required.
• Must possess a strong attention to detail, comfort with warehouse management systems (WMS), and a basic understanding of tech components.
• Extreme physical stamina with the continuous ability to lift, push, and pull 50+ pounds throughout the shift.
